Restaurant awards.

Alliance Restaurant Insurance has backed one of its favourite leisure pursuits – fine dining – and invited food fans to vote for their top restaurant.

The specialist division of Alliance Corporate Risk Management has agreed a further three-year deal to sponsor the Readers' Choice award in the San Pellegrino World’s 50 Best Restaurants awards after its initial sponsorship of last year's awards.

Steve Careford of Alliance Restaurant Insurance said the experience in last year’s awards was so valuable that the company had decided to cement its association with World's Top 50.

A specialist in risk for top-end restaurants, it has put its name to the Alliance Restaurant Insurance Readers' Choice award in the competition run by Restaurant magazine. 

Each reader's vote submitted carried a chance to win two tickets to the awards night at the Science Museum on April 23, attended by international restaurant royalty, including chefs and restaurateurs from each of the eateries in the final world 50. The lucky winners are due to be announced shortly.

Mr Careford said a large part of the company's business involved the country's top restaurants and Alliance was delighted to sponsor the Readers' Award.

"We are specialists in this industry - restaurants can’t leave anything to chance when their reputation relies on giving customers an unforgettable experience," he said.

"We’ve encouraged as many people as possible to vote for their favourite restaurant – and I'm sure they've enjoyed carrying out any last minute research!"

Alliance Restaurant Insurance and its parent company Alliance Insurance Management, one of the top corporate risk brokers in the country, has joined forces with the Towergate Group.
